Weddings at Nevill Holt

Weddings have been held in the grounds of Nevill Holt Hall since 2025. The Hall itself is a private home, so the day takes place outdoors, in the gardens and under canvas. The grounds are licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can be married outside and stay where you are for everything after — or marry in the chapel, which seats up to 65. The grounds are also open for milestone birthdays and corporate days — with exclusive use of the private gardens and the estate cottages for your party to sleep in.
The setting

The gardens were designed by Chelsea gold medallist Rupert Golby and are kept by head gardener Andy Bretherick. They drop away south towards the Welland Valley, which is where the photographs end up being taken whether or not that was the plan.
The wedding breakfast and the evening take place in a marquee in the grounds — there is no indoor room for the reception. For the ceremony itself there is also the chapel, which seats up to 65.
Market Harborough is a short drive, and London St Pancras is sixty minutes from there by train — so guests can come up for the day or stay for the weekend.

Under canvas
The celebration happens in a marquee in the grounds — there is no indoor venue, so the day is built around the gardens.
Somewhere to sleep
Up to eight estate cottages can be added to a booking. Gardeners Cottage, The Stone House, Buffalo Lodge and South Cottage are a walk from the wedding grounds; the others a short drive.
