Who we are

This website is run by Holyoaks Farm Limited, of Nevill Holt Hall, Nevill Holt, Market Harborough LE16 8EG. Registered in England and Wales, company number 02900929. VAT number 638 3409 28.

We are the data controller for the information described below. If you have any question about it, write to info@nevillholtestate.co.uk.

What we collect

This site has no forms and sets no accounts. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us by email — typically your name and email address, and whatever you tell us about your plans: the dates you have in mind, how many of you there are, which property interests you, and any requirements such as pets or accessibility.

If you write about a wedding, we will also hold what you tell us about the day. If you write about shooting, your enquiry goes to the agent named on those pages rather than to us.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use it to answer you, to suggest a property, and to arrange a visit or a booking. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our properties.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we never sell them.

Who else sees it

Bookings for our properties are made through letting agents, not through this site. Where your enquiry concerns a property they manage, we will pass on what is needed so they can deal with it. The agents we work with are We Stay, Airbnb, Mustique Island and A-ROSA, and each is responsible for the information you give them under its own privacy policy.

Shooting enquiries are handled by the agent whose address appears on the shooting pages.

We also use ordinary business services — email and website hosting — whose providers process information on our behalf under contract. We do not otherwise share your details, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for two years and then deleted. Where a booking is made, records are kept for as long as needed for the booking and for the periods required by tax and accounting rules.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies and does not track you between visits.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, does not follow you between sites and does not identify anyone; it records the page viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and what kind of device was used.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your device's IP address is seen by Google when a page loads.

Links out to our agents, to the Nevill Holt Festival, to Hanging Stones and to Jigsaw take you to other organisations' sites, which have their own policies.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Write to info@nevillholtestate.co.uk and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

If this notice changes we will post the new version here and update the date above.
