Welcome to the Nevill Holt Estate

The Nevill Holt estate, home to our award-winning theatre, dates back to the 13th century and has a rich legacy of supporting the arts. Over the centuries, the estate’s notable owners, including the Kirkby and Nevill families, the Cunards, and now its current custodian, David Ross, who devoted 12 years to restoring the property, have all been passionate patrons of the arts.

The Nevill Holt Festival is held annually on the estate’s grounds, offering breathtaking panoramic views across three counties. The theatre is set amidst beautiful gardens, crafted by Chelsea gold medalist Rupert Golby and maintained by Head Gardener Andy Bretherick.
